under demand
Submitted by chriswyatt@blue... on Sat, 29/05/2010 - 14:31
over a three day period I watched this family of Starlings visiting the bird feeders .This particular pair caught my eye.
The noise made by the not so clourful, but very demanding bird was a reminder to me of the days when my sons was young and really wanted something and in the above pictures you see the demand put upon the starling responsible for providing food.
I hope you enjoy these pictures as I have enjoyed spending time just watching this family grow.

Hi Chris
Some nice shots in there. A good vantage point. Not too much narrative but then again the shots speak for themselves.
Thanks for taking the time to put together and post.
Cheers

As I write there are two families of young starlings in the garden putting their parents under great pressure and making quite a din! Good pictures, Chris and thanks for putting it together. If you haven't seen it, look up the picture in today's Daily Telegraph (it might be in other papers) of a family of 11 long-tailed tits. A picture to die for!
Best wishes,
Steve
