hi alison i thought you may like to see this video i took from inside the house its not brill but i think it shows what you can do with the slow mo on your hs10 , it go's on a little long but in total filming it was only 30s worth at 480 fps 240 fps would have been a little quicker hope you dont mind me putting it here for you to see, copy and paste this link cheers

hello alison.. thanks for your comments and surport..

right my dear... this is very nice however i think if you had removed the one and concentrated on just one Rose it would have been smashing

 or perhaps getting them both in line??? as ya know i think thats camera macro going to take some beating Alison i did find it a bit better the the s100fs and only marginly behind a DSLR  with a good macro lens

ps... sorry there was a however... and its the first time a women brought me flowers.hehehehe

I'll keep experimenting and take all your advice on board.I'll try with one rose...Oh, and there's always a first with flowers...besides hubby has drank all the whisky so I couldn't photo a bottle of that for you instead. hee hee..Anyway..you take care Derek and thanks. I like this the best of your flower shots Alison, this is really sharp and natural colour whereas I think the others (the two later shots) are a little soft and slightly oversaturated - just my opinion but you have a nice gallery.
